MAGGIE CLARKE, CEO + LEAD DESIGNER
Fueled by her passion for design, Maggie earned her Master’s of Art from The University of Memphis and then partnered with her husband to open their boutique, turn-key fleet of 6 Airbnbs in the Southeast. Maggie personally remodeled every rental property- most were historic and needed to be fully remodeled and infused with personality through furnishings.
As the visibility of her projects grew, so did her full-service interior design firm. She and her team passionately serve as design advocates and project liaisons on behalf of their busy, high-achieving, professional clients ready to invest in their homes and lives. They pride themselves on closely partnering with every client to ensure their home looks and feels like them. Maggie encourages her clients to use their beautiful family heirlooms mixed with modern-day touches. Her signature aesthetic can be described as a traditional design with a bit of funk- always personality-driven and curated based on the family.
Over the years, she has formed an enviable unique rolodex of artists, vintage curators, and preferred trade partners.
On a personal level, Maggie understands professional families because she is one. She and her husband, Lewis, are very busy themselves! With 2 full-time careers, 3 children: Glenys (10), Lula (8), and Oliver (4), a cat, and a dog… a beautiful, livable, and function-forward home is essential to the happiness and heart of her family.
AMANDA MONTGOMERY,
Operations Manager
With over ten years of professional experience in education and administration, Amanda is eager to utilize her strengths as a clear and effective communicator to ensure projects and teams move forward. Amanda has a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis on Strategic Communication and a Masters of Urban Education.
Amanda is a future-thinking strategist and problem-solver who sees beyond current constraints to create a vision for business and project administration. Amanda is fun-loving and organized, ensuring each client experiences joy and ease in the design process! She is married to Keith and has two curious little boys, Tripp (4) and Revel (1).
HANNAH PHILLIPS,
Procurement Manager
Interiors and their aesthetics have always inspired our Studio Administrator, Hannah Phillips. A native Memphian, Hannah earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Millsaps College, before working in the non-profit sector for 10 years.
As our Procurement Manager, Hannah takes the lead in procuring all the furnishings, upholstery, and drapery for our clients. She has a keen eye for detail and fosters trusting relationships with our vendors. Hannah lives in Central Gardens with her husband Wes and their two children, Miles and Clara. She loves a good iced latte, sourcing design inspo for her 1930s home, reading, traveling and entertaining friends.
RACHEL SMITH,
Studio Manager
Rachel is the newest member of the Maggie Clarke Interiors team, bringing over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Business Administration, Rachel combines creativity, organization, and a growth-focused mindset to her role as Studio Manager. She handles a variety of responsibilities, from managing the fabric library and overseeing PR pitches to supporting the Procurement and Operations Manager.
Rachel lives in Collierville with her husband, Ford, and their 2-year-old daughter, Frankie Kate. Outside of work, she enjoys a spicy margarita and cheering on her beloved Tennessee Volunteers—Go Vols!
